Beta — these terms apply during our public beta period

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Abrac.ai (the "Service"), operated by Onfinite LLC ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Beta Notice: Abrac.ai is currently in public beta. The Service is provided "as is" during this period. Features, pricing, and these Terms may change as the product evolves. We will notify users of material changes.

2. What Abrac.ai Does

Abrac.ai is an AI-powered personalized learning platform. The Service includes:

  • Learning Paths — create a path around any subject you want to master
  • AI Curriculum Builder — Abrac (our AI) assesses your knowledge level and builds a personalized curriculum of topics and curated resources
  • Topic Study Mode — chat with Abrac to learn each topic, ask questions, and get resource recommendations
  • Organized Notes — take and organize notes while studying, accessible to Abrac for personalized teaching
  • Find Resources — search and add curated learning resources to your topics
  • Progress Tracking — visual roadmap showing completed, in-progress, and unlocked topics

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

You must create an account to use the Service. Authentication is handled by Clerk. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at hi@abrac.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.

3.3 One Account Per User

Each account is for individual use only. You may not share your account with others.

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

4.1 Beta Free Period

During the beta period, all plans — including Pro — are free for the first 7 days. You will be notified before any charges begin. Onfinite LLC reserves the right to end the beta free period at any time with reasonable notice.

Beta Pricing Notice: All pricing during the beta period is subject to change. We may adjust pricing, features, or plan limits as we continue to develop and improve Abrac.ai. You will be notified of any pricing changes with reasonable advance notice.

4.2 Free Plan

The Free plan includes:

  • 3 learning paths
  • 50 AI messages per day
  • Full AI curriculum building, topic study, notes, resource finding, and progress tracking

The Free plan is free forever. Upgrade to Pro to unlock all topics across all your paths.

4.3 Pro Plan

Pro plan pricing:

  • Monthly billing: $9.99/month
  • Annual billing: $8.25/month ($99/year, billed annually) — Save 17%

Pro includes:

  • Unlimited learning paths
  • Unlimited messages per day
  • Everything in Free, plus priority support
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • You will be charged at the start of each billing period (after the free trial ends)
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law

4.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings (Billing tab). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Your paths and data remain accessible on the Free plan after cancellation.

4.5 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will provide at least 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Attempt to abuse or exploit the AI system (e.g., prompt injection, jailbreaking)
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use the Service to transmit harmful code, viruses, or malicious software

6. AI-Generated Content

Abrac.ai uses AI (powered by OpenAI) to generate curriculum plans, study content, resource recommendations, and assessment questions. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies or errors
  • Recommended learning resources are suggestions — we do not guarantee their availability or quality
  • Assessment scores are AI-generated evaluations and should not be treated as formal academic certifications
  • We strive to improve accuracy but are not liable for learning outcomes based on AI-generated content

Important: Abrac can make mistakes. Always verify important information, especially for critical decisions, professional certifications, or safety-related topics. Use Abrac as a learning tool and study companion, but always cross-reference important facts with authoritative sources.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Platform

The Service and its original content, design, and functionality are owned by Onfinite LLC and protected by intellectual property laws.

7.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of the learning path titles, descriptions, and any content you input into the Service. By using the Service, you grant Onfinite LLC a limited license to store and process your content solely to provide the Service to you.

7.3 Third-Party Resources

Abrac.ai links to third-party educational resources (articles, videos, courses). We do not own these resources and are not responsible for their content or availability.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

8.1 Beta Disclaimer

The Service is in beta and provided "as is." Features may be incomplete, change without notice, or be temporarily unavailable. We appreciate your patience and feedback during this period.

8.2 No Guaranteed Learning Outcomes

We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes. Your results depend on your effort, time invested, and prior knowledge.

8.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Onfinite LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms or any other reason, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves, especially as we exit beta. We will post changes here and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Onfinite LLC operates. Any disputes will be resolved in the applicable courts of that jurisdiction.
