Welcome to Abrac.ai, an AI-powered personalized learning platform operated by Onfinite LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and safeguard your information when you use our service.

Beta Notice: Abrac.ai is currently in public beta. While we take data privacy seriously even during this phase, features, data practices, and this policy may evolve as the product matures. We will notify users of any material changes.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and profile image via Clerk, our authentication provider. We do not store your password — it is managed securely by Clerk.

2.2 Learning Data

Abrac.ai is built around your learning journey. We collect and store:

  • Learning paths — titles, descriptions, and topics you create
  • Curriculum data — AI-generated topic lists, descriptions, and resource recommendations
  • Chat messages — your conversations with Abrac (the AI) during curriculum building, topic study, and assessments
  • Assessment results — your scores, answers, and AI feedback from topic assessments
  • Progress data — which topics you have unlocked, are studying, or have completed

This data is central to providing the personalized learning experience Abrac.ai offers and is stored in our database.

2.3 AI Interactions

Your messages are sent to OpenAI's API to generate AI responses. This means your conversation content is processed by OpenAI in accordance with their Privacy Policy. We do not use your conversations to train OpenAI's models.

2.4 Usage & Technical Data

  • Pages visited and features used
  • Device type, browser, and operating system
  • IP address and approximate location
  • Cookies and session identifiers

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, personalize, and improve the Abrac.ai learning platform
  • To power AI-generated curriculum creation, study sessions, and assessments

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), secure authentication via Clerk, and access controls. However, no system is completely secure. We encourage you to use a strong password and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

6. Data Retention

We retain your learning data (paths, topics, chat history, assessments) for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data will be removed from our systems within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
